What eAlerts are available for me to use?
We’ve put together a list of the currently available eAlerts. You can also access that list from the eAlerts webpage.

What if I don’t see the eAlert I’d like to setup?
If you’d like to receive notification of an event or activity not listed in our list, submit your request to us through Personal eBanking – Contact Us. We’ll review your request and let you know if we can make that available as a new eAlert.

How do I setup an eAlert?
When you login to Personal eBanking the first screen should be your account summary where all the accounts you have with Morrill & Janes Bank is listed. At the top right of that screen is an area titled “Messages”. Then,

  • In the Messages area, click on the link for New to the right of the eAlert category to see the list of available eAlerts. Select the eAlert you want to setup.
  • Select your account from drop down. If you have a drop down for the “Send To” field select E-mail to have the notification sent to your Email inbox or your mobile device as a text message – select Online to receive the notification through your Personal eBanking session.
  • If you select E-mail as the Send To option, enter your Email address, or mobile message address, and then click on the Submit button. It’s that easy!

Can I change or delete an eAlert I have setup?
Yes, to change or delete an existing eAlert, click on the eAlert link in the Messages window. Click on the eAlert you want to change or delete and make those changes.

Do I have to setup an eAlert each time I want to get the notification?
Not always. Some eAlerts are setup as recurring notifications, meaning that you will receive a notification each time the event or activity identified in the eAlert occurs, such as “Notify me of my beginning balance each day”. Some eAlerts are setup as one-time events, such as “Notify me when check #1234 is paid”. The one-time event alerts would have to be setup each time you want us to notify you of that occurrence. In our list of Available eAlerts we identify if an alert is a one-time or recurring eAlert.

Can I use eAlerts if I don’t have an Email account or access to the Internet at my home?
You can only setup an eAlert through your Personal eBanking access. If you do not have an Internet connection at home, you can still access Personal eBanking from any compatible computer with Internet access, e.g. from work, the library, etc.

Can I specify what time I want to receive an eAlert?
No. The eAlert notifications are sent to you after the activity or transaction event occurs. Some events occur throughout a banking day and some happen at the end of the business day.

Are eAlerts available on all types of accounts I have with Morrill & Janes Bank?
eAlerts are currently available for Checking and Saving accounts. We are working on adding eAlerts for Certificates of Deposit, IRA’s and loan accounts.
